Supporting learning at home
This information is intended to provide clarity and transparency to pupils and parents or carers about what to expect from remote education where national or local restrictions require entire cohorts (or bubbles) to remain at home.
The remote curriculum:
What is taught to pupils at home?
As our children are very young we expect that remote education will be simple, fun learning through daily routines, play, fun activities, sing songs and rhymes and sharing books for short periods during the day for 10-15 minutes, depending on your child’s age and stage of development.
Accessing remote education
Our main remote learning platform is 'Purple mash'. We will give parents information of how to log on to it to find some fun activities. On this page you will find some excellent links to help you. We also have some ideas on activity cards which will be posted on our website or posted through your door.
We recognise that some pupils may not have suitable online access at home. Please let us know and we will find out ways to help. For example, we will provide some activities and post them through your door.

Engagement and feedback
We hope that you will support your child in the activities and give us feedback on their learning. If we can, we might ask to do a home visit to see how your child is getting on.
Keeping in touch...let us know how you get on!
Your child's Key Person or Lead Teacher will keep in touch with you to offer guidance and support.
